“ We drove out of our way to visit Mullins Coffee shop, and the location where my 10th great grandfather, William Mullins, worked and lived as a shoemaker. I am a 9th great grandson of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins, Williams daughter, all Mayflower pilgrims that sailed to America in 1620. Basil and Susan were the most gracious hosts, and the lunch was delicious. We had a jacket and a pannini, both excellent. When we left an hour later, we were sad to have to tell them goodbye! They were so kind! We consider them our newest friends and would highly recommend them for a personable, historical, and culinary delight! ”
“ Not being from the area, I asked a local where is best to go as I had a few hours to kill. They pointed me in the direction of Mullins. I was greeting by great customer service and even better food, iced coffee which was perfect and you can tell they do put a lot of care into their food and their relationships with customers. Whilst sitting here there were people coming in just to say hi to the staff! Great atmosphere and if you are travelling through Dorking, it’s definitely worth to stop. ”

They come and ask you if everything is ok, if you like your food or not, If you want anything specific with your food. They have preserved their place really well and written everything about the story of how this place has started. ”
